The Black Galvanized 9x17 Chimney Cap is the most durable and economic choice for chimneys in most areas. The outside mounting design of the stainless steel cap provides maximum free air space and a better draft while the attractive powder coat finish helps it stand up to the elements. It is made with a black powder coated hood with roll-formed edges and stainless steel mesh. The flue cap is proven to be weather resistant and does not easily crack or become rusty over time. The mesh acts as a spark arrestor to prevent most ascending sparks from reaching the outside and making it onto the roof. It will keep out leaves, rain, snow, and animals that might cause a fire hazard and will prevent wind blowing smoke back down the chimney and into your home. It comes with whole accessories such as bolts and nuts, easy to assemble. The removable lid is easy both for cleaning and for installation.
